In all honesty, the job of the brand new K_Pact_Amp could hardly be more difficult: as it has evolved from the test-winning and very popular K_Pact, the expectations it faces are high. However, K_Pact_Amp masters this situation calmly: featuring SAS-TEC padding with EN 1621, Level 2 certification, the absorption capabilities are on a par with its sibling. What’s more, it also boasts a number of additional features. On top of that, the K_Pact Amp has been decorated with the Design & Innovcation Award in the year of its introduction.... In combination with the similarly new shin extension S_Pad_Amp, the K_Pact_ Amp becomes a superb all-rounder: both can be combined to offer full-guard knee-shin protection for laps in the park or on DH tracks. Equipped with the Quick_E zipper opening on the side, the K_Pact_Amp also performs excellently on extended trail tours. Quick_E allows for easy on & off so you can leave your shoes on when fitting or removing the pads. And that’s extremely helpful after long climbs or when entering extensive transfers. Everything else is pretty similar to the K_Pact and is all thoroughly tried and tested: Ionic_Fit for a firm grip around the joint. Two Velcro-straps for secure fastening above and below the knee.
